16-1/2" spiral gauge for 17"+ tank depth.  Tank depths greater than 17" may also work but there will be additional "reserve" liquid at the bottom of the tank that will not be measured.  For example, if your tank is 18" you would have an additional 1" of liquid that is not measured when compared to a 17" tank.
